The art class in Luann seems like a perfectly reasonable lesson, except it's happened over like 5 weeks instead of a single class session, which is all this whole thing should have taken.

Julet Esqu posted:Luann How this arc need to end: A man in a trench coat bursts into the art class. “Stop right there! This man is an impostor! His real name is Professor Moriarty, from the psychology department! This whole class has been nothing but another of his nefarious experiments in human behavior! The real Zebo has been tied up in his basement all along!” Moriarty shakes his fist angrily. “Curse you, Dean of Student Affairs! You’ve foiled my plans for the last time!” How I know it will end: Luann becomes so inspired by the awesome Zebo that she decides to become an artist herself. The End.

You describe a fantasy scenario of how that arc "needs" to end but at no point in that story did Luann get dropped by the syndicate in favor of a better strip by a young up-and-comer deserving of a big break.

Wanamingo posted:Somebody make sense of this solution for me, please. The door that's open has no handle, so the clues are arranged to suggest that it was broken to reach the interior handle - but that would require the door with the handle to have been the one that was opened, as those sides of doors swing open first. Then explain that as if you were the Inspector Danger writer, while in no way visually indicating that this door makes any sort of logical sense or being at all consistent about your depictions of handles in the series, and I imagine you get the blurb in question.

Or someone could have smashed the "wrong" door window, opened up BOTH doors and then pulled one of them close as they left for some reason.
