Holy poo poo those FMA scenes
A lot of them are OP animations though, which they often go whole hog on? Like, he's got fluid animation down pat, but I keep getting this sense of weightlessness and unearned momentum to the moves of a lot of the characters in these clips, if you get what I mean. I am not saying he's bad or anything, the Mustang/Lust scene is one of the best scenes in FMA:B because of his style, but there's a bunch of shots where characters/objects feel like they're being yanked around by strings rather than moving under their own power, if that makes sense.

I'm more interested in if there'll be anything by the god of animation, Yoh Yoshinari. Nobody does kinetic animation at the level he does anymore, and I would love to see him do something in OPM.

I have to agree. Those shorts, while fluid etc., were confusing and hard to follow. A lot of very rapid stuff was happening, but it was not instantly clear what, or why one cut followed to the next. The dude you just posted is a hell of a lot better.

He did a lot of stuff in Gurren Lagann, Panty and Stocking, Evangelion/End of Evangelion/Rebuilds(anyone involved with the entire Asuka fight in EOE is a god of animation), and dozens of other shows. I never watched Mahoromatic(only read it since I heard it has one of the worst endings of any anime ever) but from these clips it seems he did a ton of stuff for it.

I believe he is also one of the reasons Panty and Stocking even got made, as he's got a pixiv account jam packed with western show fanart, like Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, and Spongebob. He rules and I'd kill to have him do some scenes for OPM, basically any Genos fight or powerup scene would be perfect for him.
