I've rolled & twisted my ankle 5 times seriously from soccer. Black & blue, swollen to twice the size, limp for 3-5 weeks kind of stuff. Even on the worst of them if you need to play you can play. I played 80 minutes of a soccer game on a brutally twisted ankle without painkillers and was at probably 95% mobility.

I'm not claiming to be a hard rear end. There's something in the nature of the injury that means when you get it moving (which does hurt like hell) you can keep going. Even if it isn't the best thing for the injury long term.

That, plus strapping, plus boot, plus injections. I'd guess that you notice no difference at all in Bray's mobility. No chance in hell he's not competing.

Of course if anything is broken that's a different issue but nobody has reported that yet.
