I hate the ted9 more because it can be used more recklessly than the 57 and has armor pen and fire rate on par with rifles

It's cool dinking a pistol guy, usually a tec9er ,and they 1 shot you while doing cartwheels across the map

Or a single A pit to goose shot that drops you to red

I'm gonna say it again pisstols in this game are a problem and Eco rounds are a loving joke even before considering player movement

I'm pumped about the Tec-9 change. It seems like every pistol round, the entire T team just buys t-9s and just swarms the CTS. Good luck defending B site on D2 with just a five seven,a flash, and a smoke. It's a good day.

Also, does anyone have any general tips for train? I haven't figured out the smoke spots yet and it's killing me (on both sides)!

They brought the tagging values back to normal which is what made SMGs so effective against bad players in the first place. Good luck either way though

I'll be honest I don't think tagging values are a nerf to SMGs at all, I read they increased tagging on multiple hits(who hits rapidly for lower damage? SMGs..) If I'm being shot with an SMG I'm probably already dead, the main advantage I get is hiding around corners and jumping out spraying you down before you can react.

Eh, the changes don't seem that meaningful to me. It sounds like the Tec9 is still OP at mid-close range and you can still get hosed by pistol tagging (and SMGs, which are now stronger), except now only slightly less?

I need someone to remind me how 1.6 tagging worked because I keep thinking it was based on what you were hit with (above the waist) and not what you were carrying. Or maybe it was equal across all weapons I don't remember. lol and CSGO still has grenade tagging, which is worse than weapon tagging


"Lowered scoped movement values for AWP and Autosnipers" --- OK cool keep nerfing aggressive AWPing. Why not do this for the scout instead? Leave the AWP alone unless youre going to buff it in some way, like improving quickscoping

In what terrible world do you live in where you think the AWP needs a buff?

The overpass changes seem good? Jumpup being turned into stairs seems cool and adding the extra stairs from bank to the heaven spot in b adds more rotation paths for cts. I'm interested to see how A takes play out now with it being wider open too.

The USP is a piece of piss to use and so is the M4A1-S i suppose but the latter at least has a counterpart with 10 more rounds which are quite handy. I can't think of a reason to use the p2k though.

I know you can quickscope now but it's not as fast or reliable as it I want it to be, especially when everyone in the game has rollerskates and the scout/pistols can pretty much do whatever

USP seems like a 1st round only gun to me personally, it's insanely good when no one has armor and I don't see why you wouldn't buy something other than default after that instead of the p2000
