I hope they add WW1 era U-boats as premium gimmicky T-1 ships. No dive mechanic, just a really small profile and a tiny detection radius while stationary. That'd make it easy for them to do one cool surprise attack before they're spotted and destroyed. Of course, if no one stumbles into your trap, you basically are dead weight. Screw having a fully fleshed out submarine angle though, maybe after a few years if they have time to get it right.

Man nothing is more hilarious than getting two perfect torpedo bomber runs on a Fuso and sinking him like a minute and a half into the match, two matches in a row. Those dudes must have been pissed. Also when the MM decides that two Independences can fight your one Saipan and you just laugh and maul every single one of their planes. Then you go up against a Ranger and you're reduced to trying to ram things and shoot them with your secondaries.

I know of two basic routes to keys: Route 1: TheFluff goes out to military archives and studies old blueprints of tanks and ships so that Wargaming can try and put in Swedish tanks or ships. Route 2: Have a popular twitch channel. I'd recommend route 1, that way you're actually contributing something useful and interesting to the world.

Nowhere to run, motherfucker   I think I'm getting pretty good at CV gameplay, I'm consistently hitting all my attack runs and scoring at least 3 kills per game. I briefly considered trying other American ships, but I realized the thought of having a useless carrier player on my team was too painful.

They get really nasty once you start getting damage upgrades, with the 8k damage torpedoes where I'm currently at you have a potential maximum damage of 48,000 plus whatever flooding and/or burning damage you inflict. Someone was posting here earlier that the optimum strategy is to get your victim to use their repair on the first torpedo run, then hit them with dive-bombers and a second wave of torpedoes so they die to the combined ticking damage.

Don't bother manually aiming dive bombers, there's no benefit to it, just getting them to attack down the length of the ship rather than across the bow is enough

If you hand out all the US keys to the people in line and still have some leftovers in the end, is it okay to put myself at the bottom of the list and grab one for a friend? You can send it to andreg.95 at gmail dot com. I play the game every day and the twitch streamers sure seem to get the eventual key even though it seems like some of them play less than me, so I thought that I'd get a key at some point to give to a friend who's been wanting to play, but nope! No keys for me. Edit: It's probably a little brazen to ask for a key for a friend who's not a goon and doesn't even come here, so feel free to ignore my request if it's not applicable in your opinion. They recently mentioned that they are planning AP bombs for DBs and when that comes into play then DBs might become a whole new threat. Currently they are good for setting things on fire and laugh while ships burn down after having foolishly used their repair ability too soon. Unfortunately that's their only use in the game.

I've had a lot of luck with manually aimed DBs against battleships and carriers. A few games in a row I got runs of 12-15k damage over 3-4 hits + around 15k just from the fire. Still obviously not as good as the same number of torp hits, but nothing to sneeze at.

The scary part about dive bombers is that it feels like you can only see the bombs when they're already blowing up around you. You can see the planes doing the screwdriver maneuver on top of you, but if there's an actual bomb model in the game, I have a hard time seeing it when I'm driving my ship. TB's you can dodge. It's a little frightening when you see a squadron coming towards you but you can take steps to prevent that. Dive bombers, even though they don't do a lot of damage, they can loom right on top of your head and make the air around you start combusting. Scary to think about when they get their AP shells.

Honestly, I don't usually worry about the dive bombers. I probably just haven't run across anyone who actually knows how to use them yet, but they are more a minor annoyance/practice for my AA gunners. They are more scary as spotters than actual damage in the games I've played.
