If the rhetoric isn't just bluster I'm pretty sure an effective GOP congress with a willing GOP president might just be able to run me out of the country now that I have a viable option. poo poo is scary.

Typically I think the taxes are a red herring. Tea Party types seem to be most concerned with social issues and keeping white Christian males in power over all else. In regards to financial matters they release a lot of populist almost socialist rhetoric about how the rich control everything and keep the working man down, however the rich are a class made up of evil, elitist, college educated liberals that want to force their views on white America. Rich, elitist, college educated Republican types are ignored. The Tea Party will use complaints about taxes and the deficit to hamper Obama's agenda but the second a Republican gets into the Presidency they will be as silent in regards to out of control spending as they were under Bush II. As long as they are being catered to on their social issues they are largely placated. It's just a lot more image friendly to complain about taxes (going to lazy minorities and shiftless government employees) than to publicly say you want to reenact Jim Crow, set up a Christian version of medieval theocratic law, and start holy wars across the Middle East which is also a message the business Republicans like to hear since they are primarily concerned with money and sticking it to minorities second.

All right, then. Two of 'em, both had my father in 'em. It's peculiar. I'm older now than he ever was by 20 years. So, in a sense, he's the younger man. Anyway, the first one I don't remember too well... ...but it was about meeting him in town... ...somewheres, and he give me some money. I think I lost it. Second one, it was like we was both back in older times. And I was a-horseback, going through the mountains of a night. Going through this pass in the mountains. It was cold, and there was snow on the ground. And he rode past me and kept on going... ...never said nothing going by, just rode on past. He had his blanket wrapped around him and his head down. When he rode past, I seen he was carrying fire in a horn... ...the way people used to do, and I... I could see the horn from the light inside of it... 'bout the color of the moon. And, in the dream, I knew that he was... ...going on ahead. He was fixin' to make a fire somewhere out there in all that dark and cold. And I knew that whenever I got there, he'd be there. And then I woke up.

Hillary's not-a-campaign has signed a lease for offices in Brooklyn. The only reason why anyone should care about this "news" is that it counts as campaign activity under the rules, which means they need to file with the FEC within the next 15 days. It would be amazing if she did a surprise announcement at the same time as Rand or Marco's scheduled events.
