I drive it like it needs it's rear end whooped at every opportunity (like it should), and it gets 19 mpg. My old cherokee got that kind of mileage for gently caress's sake. Who cares, this car is fun as poo poo. E: \/\/\/\/ I meant the 19MPG, not the 27, sorry. My driving is almost all city, so I'm just comparing my worst to the cherokee's best. Edit: While we're sharing weird fuel economy anecdotes, I get the exact same fuel economy out of my 2013 V6 Mustang as my wife does from her Focus. I think that says a lot, but I'm not sure exactly what the message is.

Lower is better. the sportscar threshold is 300,000. I think for a proper sports car comparison handling should be factored in, in the form of lateral grip. Again higher grip should equate to lower points, so we'll divide by the lateral G rating (standardized at 1G to maintain the same threshold of 300k). This gives us numbers of: F150: .75g (I'm seeing numbers ranging from .71 to .76, so i picked a good round number); 396,276 ND: No numbers are available but we can assume it'll be similar to previous models, which are around .90 stock, giving a rating of 417,921 Mustang GT: .96g, 286,567. Still a sports car. Hellcat: .94g, 408,328. Better than a stock miata. Micra: Couldn't find a number , but assuming it's close to the similar Mirage or Spark, let's say about .73, giving a number of 289,247. Still a sports car (barely) but now worse than the Mustang. All these are using stock numbers of course. For example, swapping the Miata stock rubber for HOOSIERS FOR THE TRACK DAY BRO ups the g force to about 1.2, which lowers its BRN to 313,441; not quite a sports car, but certainly a vast improvement I think you'll all agree. Few more numbers: Enzo: (2,767lb*$659,330)/(850hp*1.01)=2,125,062. Not a sports car. Used S10 Blazer: (3800*1500)/(160*.75)=47,500. We're in hypercar territory now.

Oh and since sportbikechat will inevitably come up (numbers from here): Ducati 1198s: (438+200)*21795/(170*1.26)=63,407 (81,795 without the g weighting, since the number was on a track instead of a skidpad and I don't know if turn 2 at Streets of Willow is banked or not.) Have I taken this too far yet?

wait what? a more expensive car does better just by cost alone on the bench racing points? I think thats backwards. More expensive should do worse. let me propose a new equation with these new assumptions: benchracing points = (power/weight)*(1/lateral acceleration)*(1/price) edit: rereading, i found out that im a dumbass. lower scores are better edit again: vvv me = vvv SanitysEdge fucked around with this message at 03:46 on Apr 6, 2015 |

I've recently become obsessed with large RWD sleeper sedans. My friend tuned his G8 to like 700 WHP. It looks mean. I think he can pull something like 10.2 or less on the drag strip. What do you guys think of the upcoming CTS-V. Is it "young" enough that people won't assume you were born in 1918? Think you could embarrass some exotics with it?
