haha you know I was thinking about my name while I was posting that.

My name didn't have anything to do with multi-rotars when I signed up. I had an rx7 (car) which has a rotary motor in it rather than a traditional piston motor.

But for real, they do a great live show.

And I grabbed a six pack of Big Butt Doppelbock and I'm enjoying one while watching the basketball game. Good poo poo.

DMCH have it on pre-order - I had no idea it was going to be that expensive... Its much more pictures than text, but the photos are fantastic.

Nope, can't find a photo of them online. "Vintage" style I guess. The Wayfarers I got for cheap as they were for an actor who wasn't going to use them. I'm slightly undecided on them.

Is the US Delorean site the only place you can get it? I'm a UK goon, I have a feeling the postage from the US will make it even more costly.

Same - they're on Amazon UK but I'm sure you could pick up a copy at any of the big classic car shows for a bit less. They'll have some at the Belfast reunion next month.

They're made in Italy so you either have to import them yourself or get them through a US distributor / reseller. I found them on Houzz for a slightly less outrageous price than any other option I researched.

Dang when I saw tenbux I thought maybe someone had finally mass-produced a knock-off of the blade runner glass and I could finally justify buying a set.

Speaking of spending too much money, a pothole in D.C. destroyed a (crappy oem) tire and bent a rim, so my solution was to buy all new good tires and wheels I actually like.

Selvage denim is kind of the go-to if you've got a bunch of money to burn on jeans. It's got a distinctive seam (thanks to the "self-edge") that you can show off if you cuff the legs, and depending on the details it may be heavier and/or fit better after breaking in than denim produced by newer methods. A lot of selvage denim comes from Japan because the Allies sent over a bunch of slightly older textile machinery during post-WW2 rebuilding, some of which has been maintained by small operations since then.
