It took roughly 900 episodes and dog Xanax fallout for Walking the Room to get their sound correct, I'm not surprised the tradition carries on.

I always thought 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' was a comedy show, but now I know that it is an accurate portrayal of white folks from Philly. You get an entire stadium of people like that together, of course those things happen.

There is a really long mattress ad at the beginning of todays podcast (Tong Wars) skip to the 8 minute mark for the start of the actual story.

This is how badly the Dollop has warped my sense of history: before starting the "Tong Wars" episode--despite knowing the meaning of the word--all I thought was "Jesus, there was some kind of sordid history between two companies trying to market kitchen tongs!?"

I like the Dollop a lot but I cringe whenever Dave get's really smug about dumb Americans then mispronounces like 4 things in the next sentence, all while reading something someone else wrote. I would say Dave should tone down the smug vitriol but that's part of why he's funny so...

Not all of us can read those ten dollar words.

My Dollop pain is any time they come up against history they aren't talking about currently (oh my god that Talleyrand poo poo) or current politics. I couldn't finish the test site episode because of their idiocy regarding nuclear politics.

Luke McGregor is a funny comedian in person and can be great on podcasts, don't think this format was right for him though. He does a longer form storytelling, nervous act that doesn't fit the fact about history, quick joke, repeat, format format of The Dollop. Plus I bet he was genuinely feeling nervous since he comes from Tasmania, where we Europeans managed to completely 100% wipe out the native population.

I think I like the oens where I know the twist the most, because then I get to anticipate him freaking the gently caress out, ie TONY THE TIGER IS IN ON IT? SNAP CRACKLE AND loving POP?
