I'll be honest given the choice every car I own would be lime green. Forever.

My car's not blue, it's gray. Have some audio of a cold starting 4 liter V8 to atone for my sin. https://vimeo.com/124575684

On the up side, if both of you smoke the tire next to each other, it'll look like a proper set of elevenses

So I bit the bullet and get myself a 2015 Abarth last month, I can honestly say it's in every way shape and form better than that '13 Sport Turbo I had. Got my Madness V2 ECU, MPx Throttle Body and Eurocompulsion V3T V2 intake ready to install, just gotta find the time to slap that poo poo in (xpost from fruity 500 thread)

Comrade Flynn posted:Heh how's it feel to be slower than a 335 with a flash. He doesn't know what that's like. Every single shitlord with a 335iS to 1Ms with <you name it> mods in between could not keep up with a stock M3 and a de-limit. There is no BMW engine outside of the S70/2 that is, pound for pound, capable of outrunning a delimited S65. Period, end of conversation. The biggest downside of driving a modern M car is most definitely the shitlords in 3/435s trying to race you on the freeway/on ramp/parking lot/drive thru or every other location where they happen to spot you. Also the fart canned imports that go out of their way to keep you from changing lanes or merging and then fart off down the road when you slow down intentionally to get away from them. I can't imagine the stupidity that comes along with driving a lambo.

I can't believe what happened this week. I've been totally hushed about in in case something went south but we confirmed it's legit today. New daily. 2000 Golf TDI 4 Door. 314,000 miles. Built in Wolfsburg Germany. Dad had promised about two years ago that I could have this car but he decided to keep it. Well he recently bought an Infinity QEGEWHE something and he loves it, he hasn't touched the Golf once since he bought it. We were trying to sell it but his heart just wasn't in it. I jokingly told my sister we should keep it in the family so he called me the other day and asked if I wanted it. As he's already gifted me a large sum of cash in the past I will have to pay some amount of tax on this but sometime in May it will be signed over to me. He bought it new in 1999 and I've loved it and the thought of selling it to some WV enthusiast rubbed me the wrong way so I'm thrilled he's passing the keys to me. Very few flaws, some tiny rust spots but is otherwise clean. Dad's kept a fuel log of every fill up since he got it and at last check it was getting 51mpg.
