Edit - Obsidians next contract with a publisher will include a section that stipulates that they will receive no payment whatsoever for the game unless 85% of players get the "press start" trophy. 84% of players will actually get the trophy. I like the rarity percentages more than trophies themselves, it's fun seeing what part of a game turns people off. It gets completely screwed up when a game goes on PS+ but whatever.

Yeah 20% of people who played Dragon Age Inquisition never made it past the ~20 minute intro, that's just insane to me. I know it has multiplayer, but still.

Is anyone enjoying Dark Souls II? I'm reading mixed things, some say the durability glitch makes it unplayable, some say it's fine.

The PC version has had the durability glitch since release, I've beaten the game 10 times in NG and 1 time in NG+ with it. Gamers like complaining. Its really just a port of DS2 though, don't expect a huge change if you've already played DS2 before. The new spawns are neat and it does feel kinda like "master quest" version, but the graphics are identical other than frame rate and resolution. If you haven't played DS2 before loving do it, amazing game. Haters gonna hate. The DLC in particular is really something else.

I was actually impressed to see 70% of the people that played Bloodborne managed to beat the first boss and about 65% beat the second one; I figured there would be a much lower percentage on that due to people picking it up and thinking it's a new AAA open world game, dying to the werewolf, and returning it.

Alright, maybe I'll pick it up. I'm enjoying Demon's and finished Bloodborne. I'll start my second playthrough of that once the guide finally ships. I really should pick up Dark Souls.

I really should pick up Dark Souls. Yes you really should. Its cool though, you can play them in any order. Each game has something to offer that the others don't. Rather than just trying to one-up themselves, From has experimented with something a little different each time. The closest are DS1 and DS2 but even then there's so many differences, in some ways DS2 is closer to DeS. If you liked Bloodborne and you're liking Demon's then its pretty much guaranteed you're going to like both DS1 and DS2.

It's only really bad at first when your using really lovely weapons and haven't unlocked the blacksmith yet. You lose the most durability when a guy dies and you hit him 2-3 times as he's falling down. Once you learn to hit them just enough to kill them and not keep beating on them the problem almost goes away. But you should always have at least 2 good weapons in case one gets low.

I'm already loving it a lot more than Bloodborne though. I was doing some co-op last night and we had 4 guys going through a zone. 2 of us had shields and one guy was a Mage and the other was using a bow. We were just wrecking poo poo in the zone and it was really cool having a mix of tanks and range. Felt like we were dungeon crawling in a mmo but actually fun.

A dark souls combat style MMO is pretty much my dream game at this point and if its ever made I'll just stop going out in public ever again. Doesn't even have to be a full on MMO, Guild Wars 1 style player towns and 4-man parties outside the town would be fine by me.

I have no confidence in Deep Down anymore after playing Bloodborne's chalice dungeons. They're a fun concept but they work in conjunction with actual designed locales, not as the bulk of a game. I just don't think an entire game of randomly generated dungeons will be as interesting.

I'm playing Borderlands 2 for the first time and just got to Wilhelm. He was hyped up as the toughest boss in the game but the level 52 goon I was randomly playing with killed him in literally two seconds before I even fired a shot. I thought it was some sort of intentional joke in the game but there are lots of youtubes that show an actual fight. So weird.

It never stops being funny to me that people always say "get out of the Hinterlands!" when it and Emprise are the only zones that are actually done well in the whole game. My DA:I recommendation is to do whatever you want to fill up the power bar but hit up those main quests asap. The only content in the game that yields any real satisfaction for completing it is the main story quests, companion quests, and dragon fights. Everything else is pointless, context-less filler with all the joy of a B grade theme park mmo. Uhh not counting any DLC, which I haven't played.

Ah if you are using one of those no follow blocking plugins there is something you have to disable in there for the player to work. Its the Doubleclick one in ghostery dunno about other ones that block that stuff.

I'm not saying the Hinterlands are bad or anything, just that one of the complaints I saw from some people was that they had the opportunity to move onto new areas, didn't, then got burned out on the fetch quests and stuff. I'd say stick with Hinterlands till you get what you need to do the first main story quest after arriving, then go back at a later time for other stuff and the dragon kill. Then again, I spent 75 hours on my play through over two months, thanks to the side quests. I enjoyed it
