I believe the explanation for the lack of Occult Bullshit in TNO is that BJ killed everyone who was involved in it prior. Every last person. He's very thorough. I find this wholly believable.

For all the people who liked Wolf09, you should play Singularity if you haven't already. It's by the same developers and it's basically "Wolfenstein: 1950s Soviet Edition" and it rules.

I actually like Singularity better than Wolf 09. Two weapon limit was dumb as gently caress but not having the regenerating health was nice and the weapons felt chunkier. Someone mentioned Danger 5?

Some of the Nazi zombies actually use weapons like rifles. More info about Da'at Yichud tech. Also the devs learned a song in German then got drunk as skunks by the request of the audio director.

I've finally got a PS4 and played through TNO (Fergus timeline), Christ almighty have I missed a shooter like this. Letting Wyatt go first was actually kind of heart breaking. And IMO this game is a direct sequel to Wolf09 what with Becker talking about the past game how she survived and Strasse talking about the incident as well having survived the blimp exploding. I liked the nightmare level, and just the branching pathways in general. Fully equipped LKW is awesome explodey laser death. I think I need to up the difficulty because I can almost stealth kill most areas. Now going through the Wyatt timeline, kinda wishing he was still dead. But then again I have a soft spot for sarcastic Scots.

Death Incarnate is neat and not hugely difficult, but it does make the final assault on Deathshead's Compound much harder mainly thanks to all the heavy soldiers and such, each one is probably equivalent to a miniboss in every other game. It does make you feel like a total badass when you do finish, though, and it's not even the hardest difficulty

Yeah I'm pretty sure there's no problem buying the disc pc version second hand on eBay. (It'a not like anyone would still be playing the lacklustre multiplayer anyway, so you'd only be getting it for single player. So CD key shouldn't matter.)

I don't know if this was said but it looks like the old blood is the reboot of RtCW. They keep mentioning the prison break out, they have the cable cars, the tavern, (Maybe we will get to kill the SS Paranormal division again?) and then the whole Helga thing. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a young Caroline and even Hans Grosse. I'm actually down as long as they do 2 things, explain away the whole drat atrophy thing I bitched about before about before and they include a letter describing falling deaths attributed to ladders like in RtCW. Then it would be complete. We'd have a perfect reboot.

Turns out Castle Wolfenstein is actually a lot like Dracula's castle and it's a living thing that reappears every now and then in a different configuration and is actually what created the Nazis.
