Pretty sure they meant content wise you dummy. Of course it's going to be scaled down a bit. It's a 3DS. I personally think it looks pretty impressive given the hardware. Also instant load times if you port to a landmark in the same large area.

I meant game wise. Obviously a less graphically powered version that has half the resolution isn't going to look as good. I just said that in case he was confusing chronicles 3D with Chronicles X.

Well the west always liked Sonic more than Japan and both the other games are just super popular in general, its nice that they'll most likely be given the same love and care the other games have gotten. Though the arcade ports were generally more awesome than the genesis ones in terms of features, honestly.

Pandora's Tower is a similar sitch, what with coming out on WiiU VC. Come to think of it, I bought and never started The Last Story either

Kelp Plankton posted:All three of those sound fantastic. We're finally past all the "well these are classics so we need to do them first" bullshit and can get to the good games. Totally looking forward to the 3D translations of Treasure's parallax antics. I want to see them do Dynamite Headdy as well, unlikely as it is, just to see those faux 3D moments in real 3D. So does anyone actually know what the Mii Plaza VIP thing does? I love all of the Mii games and will definitely be getting the fishing and zombie one but don't know if I should bother with the other one.
|
# ? Apr 16, 2015 16:03 |

Just based on what was on the JP site, it adds a birthday system that gives you tickets for passing people on their birthday, filling sections of the calendar, etc, a VIP room that lets you save 100 Miis (streetpass/spotpass Miis only, I think, no QR), some enhanced BGM options that let you pin certain tracks to certain screens or listen with the system closed, and some fast-skip options for reading Mii info.

# ? Apr 16, 2015 16:29 |

Does the VIP thing actually make it easier to make progress in the games in any way? That's the only reason I'd consider getting it. I enjoy the streetpass games but they're so slow when I go periods without getting a lot of passes.

I guess you can pin the powerful Spotpass Miis to the VIP room and pull them out whenever you want? It's also worth mentioning that you won't be able to earn enough tickets to unlock 100% of the hats and other junk if you don't have the VIP update, but seriously, does anyone care?
