Cats are actually a serious problem for local bird and mammal populations. It doesn't matter if they're feral or domesticated - cats murder anything smaller than them if they're given a chance.

Um, sort of? I mean, I guess they are in the range of their normal prey, but it's not uncommon at all to hear of a cat getting taken out by a Coyote, or even a hawk (or, more recently a Bald Eagle), around here. Little yappy dogs go that way too.

Speaking of real life stuff, I don't remember if it's come up in this thread, but has anyone been to the Universal Studios Orlando Toon Lagoon section? It's a whole area themed around comic strips of varying age and quality and has a couple good water rides if you're into wearing damp underwear all day.
