I've just decided my ideal revised "Top gear" would be Stephen fry, Jonathan Ross and Richard hammond. Other than fry i dont really "like" any of those guys, but i saw them work together in a show and the chemistry is top gear-class and they do have the presenting chops to do it right. Of course it would be completely different in format and attitude but that would be my choice.

They are of course not auto journalists, but all i want from top gear is "3 dudes have fun". If you change that its not top gear, if you keep it it will likely succeed.

Clarkson thought he had Cancer and found out 2 days before he assaulted the producer. So combine that with his Marriage collapsing and his Mother dying and its now more understandable why his emotional state was a mess and why he blew up the way he did.

Also he has confirmed he is making another Car program, but May and Hammond might not be involved.

Broadcast posted:

Jeremy Clarkson has promised to create another motoring show after losing his job as the presenter Top Gear for physically assaulting producer Oisin Tymon.

Writing about the events for the first time in the Sunday Times, Clarkson promised to pick up the pieces of his BBC career and hit the road with a new format.

He said: I have lost my baby but I will create another.

The presenter, who has been linked with both ITV and Netflix, added: I dont know who the other parent will be or what the baby will look like, but I cannot sit around anymore organising my photograph album.

Clarkson revealed that the day he attacked Tymon had been the most stressful in his 27 years at the BBC and came two days after being told that a lump on his tongue could be cancer. He said others facing stress manage to cope better than I did.

Clarkson also spoke of his grief of letting go of Top Gear. It was an all-consuming entity, a many-tentacled global monster that was dysfunctional and awkward and mad but I loved it with a passion. I loved it like my own child, he said.

I felt sick because after Id lost my home and my mother, Id thrown myself even more vigorously into my job and now, idiotically, Id managed to lose that too.

No No No!
No cream (or garlic) in a carbonara. If you're adding them and other veg/herb stuff, you may as well be making a boscaiola.
Carbonara is all about the eggs, cheese, pepper, bacon/pancetta/guanciale, pasta, and that's all.

It's called carbonara because the carboneri (Charcoal burners) used to make it. If an ingredient couldn't survive being carried up a mountain and kept in a filthy shack for three months, don't put it in.
