Keep in mind that although the game makes it look like it was just the next day, the months don't change until you clear the story mission for that month. It could have been a few weeks between the fight and his enrollment. Edit: For the record, the rest of the class knows, so the administration likely knows about his rebel past as well.

Vicky is still way, way better than Magari because if you haven't noticed, sometimes Potentials after classmate missions replace a bad one. Magari will too, except it replaces the one that lowers evasion instead of the one that stops her turn if seen by more than 1 enemy.

I mean, I guess change him into a Sniper for his bonuses to matter as a specialist? Also, he's a racist. That's why he joined the rebels.

Yay, we finally got to the thing with Alexis! Now I can say that Alexis is the best character in the game. Alexis is the destoyer of all your poo poo and tanked everything for me when I played this game. Also having looked through the thread, wow is she better than literally every other woman in the game. Like, wow I forgot how badly written most of the women were in this game.

Most classmate missions are inoffensive at worse, just solving personal problems they have because some of them are still teenagers. Except Melissa. Oooooh boy, that is the only classmate quest that even I would say is legit terrible.

A good idea to understanding GRA racism... Picture this... Your people have been a neutral nation who suddenly been invaded by another country woth some hardline bigots. No problem, resource conflicts happen all the time no problem. But they then start escavating your ruins for WMDs to end the war quickly because you are holding on with tooth and claw. However suddenly your head of state reveal she is one of the people responsible for the end of the world by the religion you follow? Sure you repelled the empire but you now got an ursurper faction ruling your people? So who else who want Gallia aside from the Empire? -Darscen fanatics who sees her capture as the establishment of an Darscen state. Eventually recruiting people who saw enough oppression to make non loyal members hang while others will suffer a dozen times more? -A Yggist version of the People Crusades, ragtag Yggists who join together to purge the illegitimate kingdom. Its going to be an brutal slaughter. Not shooting people in rampages but rounding up and commiting horrific atrocities like live burnings, beheadings and impaled corpses. At this point you are utteely convinced either you remove them or they do it for you.

So now we have gotten the Alexis "twist" out of the way. I was surprised by this twist - not because I thought Alexis was male, she was clearly female; I was surprised that the game expected you to be surprised by this. They do go to some lengths to hide this, though - Alexis is listed as male in your classmate records until this, and she uses the male class change salute even after her sex is revealed. Every other female does a little jumping bow.
