In other news, National is glossing over the fact that yet more of their election promises aren't being met.

Health Minister Jonathan Coleman told TVNZ's Breakfast the roll out would always take time.

"If your GP won't give you your free under 6 consultation then you go a couple of hundred yards down the road," he said.

Cabinet papers revealed by the Greens show the ACC top-up level of funding set by the Government was $24 per visit, which would mean 10 per cent of children would still have to pay.

I don't believe CSC affects the price of GP visits. Yeah they are fuckin expensive and I fuckin' hate referring people to the Dr when I probably could help them but I'm not allowed to because of regulations etc. Also fucks me off when Drs prescribe things that aren't funded and don't tell the patients. It's up to me to tell them "yeah I know you just spent $45 but guess what this cream is another $18" and you can see the pain in their face.

At least most drugs are cheap and should cap out at $100 for a family for a year. We make sure pharmaceuticals are a high priority in this country :smug:

It is important to keep perspective on the health sector in this country though, it could be so much worse and the amount of effort (and money) I see poured into individuals is insane given how little they personally are contributing. A lot of people have little respect or insight into the level of care they are getting, and mostly focus on what's poo poo for them while ignoring all the sweet poo poo they don't even notice. Not that it's good to be complacent mind you, but gratitude isn't unwarranted.

He clearly sees women as second-class citizens, property he can just play with as he sees fit. Their feelings do not matter to him, and if they do appear upset he will just try to coddle them with alcohol. So he is clearly a predator as well.

Wow, that certainly looks like John Key is on top of the matter and actively managing the bad PR that could arise from this event - except for the part where the apology it refers to is the clearly inadequate two lovely wine bottles and "sorry i'm five" that are in her loving story.
