Far as I know, XSEED's doing all the heavy lifting with the translation, Marvelous Japan is implementing the translation into the game and Marvelous Europe's just publishing. And yet, is the european branch the one sharing updates. They also shared this handy flowchart of the game's menus  Seeing two screens labeled as "ArThing" cracks me up

I have had to start using Homepass, because with my cracked screen I can't take my 3DS anywhere without it getting worse. And I can't afford to send it it yet, so I need to use Homepass until then. Beats having to go to McDonald's for Streetpasses anyway.

Wow, I haven't played any Senran games. Does it really stop like that mid-fight multiple times to show the panties of the girl? I don't care for the sex stuff, and it looks super annoying to constantly be paused to highlight that stuff.

Used to, on Deep Crimson you can turn off the feature on the options screen (under the "performance" tab) at any point. I turned it off at the beginning of the game on my imported copy and seeing the cutscene on the video was very jarring.

If you got to the point in that video where it shows gameplay, I think you could have already gathered that it wasn't the game for you. I'm not ashamed (I am ashamed) to say that I bought SK Burst back when it was on sale, but I still haven't actually played it yet. Along with the Year-End Eshop sale, I have so many unplayed games on my home screen now. EDIT: Also gently caress yes terraformars game

I don't feel like Japanese sales will have any effect on whether or not this title comes out in America and Europe. America has always been Square-Enix's biggest fanbase, even when they were SquareSoft.

Nintendo games other than Pokemon don't really have much to translate anyway and they have been big on cost saving measures for a while. Read more here or whatever. Any extra localization and QA needed that the remaining staff won't be able to tackle will be outsourced from now on, which makes the situation be rather different: before, they had redundant people around and could get them extra projects like Xenoblade and Last Story or more recently Bravely Default.
