Wait, why? You'd think having at least half a dozen languages to translate into they'd need as many people they can get.

I don't think they translate big JRPG's into anything but English anyway and just have a country specific manual, though NoE might be large enough to still do EFIGS translations.

BD has multiple languages i'm pretty sure, I switched to French for a while to try and practice before getting bored and switching back

This is wrong. BD as mentioned above, all Pokemon games, and even Xenoblade (British voice acting only, but everything translated otherwise). Germany is the biggest EU market for games, NOE's HQ is located in Germany, you do the math.

e: I recall one exception, though, Pokemon Conquest, released only on the UK. I don't think they bothered to even change the American translation on that one.

If you're talking about Gust's and NISA's output here, they just use the American versions, because, as big as the EU market is, it's not bigger than the NA one.

Preorder P&D Z + Mario from the Nintendo UK store to get a Mario plushie.

Which you can resell on Ebay if you aren't manly enough to own a Mario plushie, I guess.

Haven't been relased yet, but I don't believe it would be too different from the one found on Versus' artbook

So instead of being recommended Shantae and Mighty Switch Force (which I've played and they're good), what's the best ACTUAL Castlevania game I can play on 3DS?

It's easily the worst of the new style Castlevanias in my opinion, but it's still pretty good. The formula is so drat good that they can't make a bad game out of it.

Dawn of Sorrow is probably my favorite of the DS games, Order of Ecclesia is the most beloved by goons in general though. I replay every single GBA and DS Castlevania pretty often because they're all fun as gently caress.

Order of Ecclesia is good, but I think people tend to forget about the literal copy-paste level design that comprises the first 1/2 - 2/3 of the game.

I feel like DoS is more inclined towards exploration while OoE leans more towards cool action fighting with things divided into smaller chunks of levels.

They're both good, but that crab can go gently caress himself

Yeah, I think that's a good way to sum it up. OoE with a real castle instead of being 50% crappy copy-pasted stages would easily be the best game in the series I think, but I'm personally more interested in exploration so I prefer DoS.
