Gotta say, the idea of Buu absorbing so many strong fighters that he becomes an all-powerful and completely unpredictable mash-up of different personalities is pretty drat cool.

The side stories they do for different universes tend to have varying quality (mostly the Bojack ones are terrible) and aren't entirely necessary, so skip any of those if you want to.

Some of the bonus chapters are pretty bad (Mostly the ones with Bojack), but they're all just backstory or What-If and eminently skippable. The rest of the comic ranges from "kind of cute tribute" to "actually pretty clever." It's pretty fun - not super smart, but it's not like DBZ was incredibly smart to begin with, and the art in the main comic (and a few of the bonus chapters) is generally really good for a fanwork.
