So yeah, good on her for wanting to protect her baby. He’s her only son, and he’s only 16. Parents should look out for their children.

But she is no pro-white poster child and it’s disgusting that she’s being represented as one.

As some of you know, last month, Ed Murray (who is openly gay), the mayor of Seattle, banned travel to Indiana as part of protesting the religious freedom law. He got a lot of hate mail, and The Stranger got a hold of them as part of a public records search. They drew cartoons from some select hatemail and did some great drawings of Ed Murray based on the hatemail:

I don't like the equivalency in these. The guy on the left is just a guy, he can be forgiven if his perceptions are wrong (and they very well might not be). The guy on the right is a trained professional at evaluating people.
