The SFA have decided that they want in on the ridiculousness, and like a lovely parent are giving in to the Celtic boards :qq: tantrum. Embarrassing.

quote:

SHATTERED Josh Meekings is set to miss the William Hill Scottish Cup Final.

The Inverness Caley Thistle stopper has been stunned by a charge from the Compliance Officer which will rule him out of the May 30 showpiece against Falkirk.

Meekings has been offered a fixed-suspension of one match in the competition for his handball in the semi-final against Celtic.

Parkhead chiefs wrote to the SFA demanding an explanation of why referee Stevie McLean and fifth official Alan Muir missed the incident when Leigh Griffiths’ netbound was stopped on the line by Meekings’ right arm.

The Principal Hearing date is this Thursday, with Meekings having until 3pm on Wednesday to respond to the complaint.

If you can't win in regulation time, just whine and bitch and moan until you get a decision, the Celtic way.

First of all, that makes no sense in so far as benefitting Celtic.
Secondly, that's shite and heartless from the SFA.
Thirdly, nice meltdown.

Had a debate with a guy at work about how much each club has paid "per point" in wages and thought you guys might like the results. Figures are from 2010, the last data I could find, but assuming wage bills haven't changed that much the ranking is the same. The figures take the total points each team has got that season and divides their wage bill by that number.

1st: Hamilton; 46 points; £26k/point
2nd: ICT; 55 points; £37k/point
3rd: St Johnstone, 51 points; £53k/point
4th: Aberdeen; 74 points; £69k/point
5th: Dundee Utd; 49 points; £78k/point
6th: St Mirren; 24 points; £92k/point
7th: Kilmarnock; 38 points; £99k/point
8th: Motherwell; 31 points; £113k/point
9th: Celtic: 82 points; £398k/point (not a typo, three hundred and ninety eight thousand pounds per point)

No data for Dundee, Partick Thistle or Ross County.

So well done Russ!

Aberdeen are also poo poo.

Not really, incredible effort from them, bit of an anticlimax really. Interesting to see if they can keep it going next season.

At the start of the season I thought Ronny would be another Mowbray but he's done really well for a first season and we look to be developing as a side for the first time in years.

We're getting Graeme Shinnie which will hopefully finally stop defensive gently caress ups, all we need now is a good keeper, although I hear Danny Rogers is doing good work for Dumbarton.
