He said at the beginning he'd be willing to bend the rules a bit for people who he noticed showed up regularly and actively participated. I don't mean to belabor this point but I had to defend myself in this regard.

I'm not too bummed about the comparatively meager stretch goals because it means they've got a focused plan for the game as a whole instead of just tacking on major new game mechanics or areas. Also holy poo poo Ctrl Alt Del is still a thing? I think I stopped reading it around 2005 and assumed it just kinda drifted away. Please don't tell me its been updating this entire time.
