in oblivion, paintbrushes were immovable objects. you could take and place them yourself, but since they had no physics properties beyond a collision mesh, to an NPC a wall of floating paintbrushes was insurmountable.

although gat drat every time i look at oblivion's lush, grassy fields i genuinely get a little mad that skyrims are so flat and low detail like i get its a harsher more barren landscape but at a minimum the rift and falkreath should have something like that. skyrim actually seems like an older game in that regard. loving consoles
