Not as turgid as that RX, perhaps, but I just saw a rare bird out on the road. Didn't manage to snap a pic, but at first it looked like a freshly painted silver G body. But then as it passed, I noticed the T tops, the red trim, and the showroom fresh script across the bottom saying HURST/OLDS

No, see, since each rotor is equivalent to two cylinders in a piston engine, that's a high-performance straight-12.

Also, apparently the car is a total dyno queen.

Guinness posted:Best "straight six" ever. I looked at him like he had grown two heads and had to explain the RX4* is the future . Whether it's quad rotor or something else, it has the under bonnet room for it, not the rx3. The rx3 will only be for quaint old 2 rotor engines. * E: rx7s are too small on the inside, and rx5s too big everywhere. But rx4 is about right for size and weight for engine upgrades. I ran across one hell of a beautiful Cadillac tonight. It was smooth. It was sophisticated. It gleamed under the lights. The wire wheels looked perfect and freshly polished. The driver was equally smooth, sophisticated, and approachable. I present to you, the nicest looking 1981 Cadillac Eldorado you'll ever see. I talked to the owner for a minute. He finished restoring it a year ago. Carb, none of that V8-6-4 bullshit. I'm not sure what he did to the roof, but it looked beautiful - looked like brushed steel or aluminum (it looks darker in the photos), with a sunroof. The interior looked brand new, right down to the factory radio. He said when he bought it, it was a "rusted out hunk of junk in a field". I don't know why, but the photo makes it look two tone (guessing the metal flake was laid down in a different direction on part of it, same reason my car looks two tone in photos). It's not, it's all one color, except for the brushed metal roof, and the landau top. You just don't see that much class in a single parking space these days. Even if it is a front wheel drive GM E body with a smog-era V8. I'm not usually one for wire wheels, except on old Jags and Cads.
