Thinking about grabbing icestorm to get into 3rd edition, but I don't care about PanO. Is there a market for that set to sell off or are they flooded from starter sets and worthless?

All are available individually, though I think the Father Knight and Healer are exclusive to Icestorm. The starter is priced equal to 2x starter sets with the scenery and rules thrown in free. In the UK the standard discount on eBay is 15%, so you can expect to sell for about that amount. If you put a buy it now for 17.5% it'll go in a flash. Your local mileage may vary of course.

Kind of a long shot but does anyone play at Draxtar or Games Plus? I am having a hard time getting the rules down just from the rule book and getting some games in with people who know what's going on would be super helpful. In a perfect world I'd play through Icestorm with my fiancé but she just got her hands on another Malifaux crew and refuses to learn another rule set at the moment.

Both my YuJing orders arrived today, so I spent the night gluing poo poo together and got through everything but a Su Jian and Crane Rank Agent. The Su Jian kinda looks like more trouble than it's worth, and I can't think of any reason to field the Crane Agent over any of the other HI options. I'll get around to it eventually, especially the Su Jian since it seems like it could be somewhat useful, but is there a good use for the Crane Agent?

Had my first "real" game of N3 last night. It was pretty fun! It didnt really highlight any of the big changes to the game, other than perhaps the 3 turn limit. We played 200 points, I had PanO icestorm box stuff + a hexa w/spitfire. My buddy played JY with mostly ISS stuff, hsien LT, a crane guy, a bunch of celestial guard and kuang shi. The one thing we did skip was the command tokens, and I think I realize why they are so important to the game...with only 3 rounds, you need to burn coordinated orders pretty fast to get up the table early on, because 3 turns isnt enough to get most of your army up the field if you are burning 1 order per guy. Game came down to him making 3 armor saves on a kuang shi as it advanced, then blowing it up on my already wounded father knight. If I failed the armor roll, he wins for sure. I didnt, so we counted remaining points and I had 103 to his 102, lol. Called it a tie. We will work in scenarios/command tokens/hacking etc as we keep going, but it was nice to dip my toes back in the pool

One question and one cool situation from today's game. Question: I have a shotgun wielding guy staring down two enemies who are standing in line. I shoot both shots at the front guy so the second guy gets hit by the blast. Is his ARO a face to face roll? We played it as no, but thinking about it, my BS roll vs the first guy will effect the second guy and the ARO shot from the second guy will stop me from shooting so I guess we played that wrong? Cool situation: My Maakrep was ambushed while in Suppressive Fire. But my opponent was inside ZoC and the Maakrep has 6th sense L1 so I got to react with an attack. At full SF burst! I still lost it
