It's definitely inspired by Nickelodeon's obsession with slime back in the 90s.

This is probably the real answer. I wouldn't be surprised if more than a little of the tech from Sunshine went directly into this game.

I want a charge gun that's like a chargeable shotgun. Less range, but it hits a cone in front of you instead of a long trail.

Now I'm going to play the Metroid game in Nintendoland until the 29th to get good at gyro controls.

This game seriously took my by surprise. Thought I wouldn't like it at all and was playing the demo as a way to convince myself to stop even thinking about it. Now I'm considering Amiibos. God Dammit.

Is there anyway to contact the Splatoon devs? Because my last queue had the timer go from about 150 to 120 and then back to 150 over and over, and there was no way to escape other than to turn off the Wii U (Home button was disabled). It's a really obnoxious bug and I want to see if there's a place to report it.

This happened to Nintendo Treehouse on their stream, so one would think they know.

Seriously I hope that I'll be able to change the jump button in the full version, otherwise I'll have to learn the gyro controls which I'd prefer not to do. I didn't like what I experienced of them. I just can't reach the jump button well if my thumb is on the right stick and jumping seems awfully important.

If you're the kind of person that subconsciously shifts when looking around in games, it's really easy to get used to for subtle aiming, although looking straight up or down is kind of annoying.

I set sensitivity to max then I really started to enjoy the gyro controls. The max sensitivity is a bit high to free hand the controller. Rest your elbows on your knees while sitting so your hands are stable. This will give you steady aim. give about 30-45 degrees and press the camera reset button. You should now be good to look fully up and down without making insane motions. Gyro is impossible without max sensitivity, it turns into captain toad where the motion feels 1:1 and to look behind you, you literally look behind you.

1:1 gyros work in a computer chair with a 3DS they do not work for a TV based console where you still need the main screen. Star Fox is gyro controls in a computer chair is so much fun you aim by twirling around using your feet basically and it's fun :colbert:
