Eh, "rear end in a top hat" might be a bit strong (a lot of that was more aimed at Yoshii's insist obsessed rear end in a top hat of a sister in Baka and Test) but, she relay hasn't warmed up to me. Jumping from "Rinko's wanting to make out" to "Rinko's totally two timing you, dood." is just dumb and not in the sort of adorable "Aw, they're only talking past each other because they care" sort of way that Rinko and Takeo have going on. Errr, but Rinko never said anything about wanting to make out? All she knows is that Rinko is hiding something, while I agree that her speculating out loud at Takeo is sort of dickish it's pretty understandable.

I can relate to Ai and so didn't bother to fault her. Like her introduction went way better than you'd expect in a romance, because she quickly stopped being a (serious) love rival and wasn't trying to sabotage things. Basically acting like the adult she is and not being twisted into a dramatic trope either. e: oh my god the scene in the park, Yamato and Ai comparing notes
