I just noticed that Knight of Dark Dragon is a Dragon. I had thought it was a Warrior because...yeah, it's a Knight. So you can tribute KoDD to summon REDMD from your deck, then every turn after that you can bring back KoDD with REDMD's effect and then tribute him again to pull out another Red-Eyes monster.

I would give my usual rant about how YGO has too many monster types here, but gently caress it, I'm actually GLAD they're Aqua and not Fish, because that means their spells support Aquas, which makes me happy because gently caress YES the Aquarium stuff is awesome Penguin support.

I'm rewatching the original yugioh DM now and made it season 2. It was actually surprisingly enjoyable considering I hadn't watched the show since 2002. I never went past season 2, are the later seasons any good at all? I have no idea.

A neat combo I saw today: Using Magical Hats in Furnimals in order to conceal two Toy Pots. At the end of the turn, both Toy Pots activate in the graveyard, allowing you to get two free searches.

Kentarus could legitimately make beast-beatdown relevant again. He's searchable, mills the deck and has an impressive attack if you dump something like Baboon. All that he lacks is that he's 3 instead of 4. Really looking forward to see what stupid poo poo I can bring back to the table with him. Dinosewing is kinda underwhelming, he seems tooled for some kind of Battle Mania OTK but I'm not sure right now. Dustons, Black Garden and Ojama Trio could all kinda work.
