So cute! Tycho needs more hats. Refurb may have her crown, but Tycho can be a dapper gentledogge.

So, uh, just curious, but how does one go about making that happen? Not that I'd pay anyone to do that or anything.

I've been pretty busy the last couple weeks. Here's a summary of what Refurb's been up to:

I got this new camera that's called a "Light Field Camera." It's not terribly fancy and was actually pretty cheap, but it lets you take still photos and adjust the focus/focal length/aperture/etc after the fact.

So, now I can make neat GIFs with some neat effects

Yeah, if Refurb decides to let us sleep in, Tycho will wake me up by stomping on my face at about 7:30, then stand on my chest and give me this look

I'm actually OK with that alarm.

I've been putting something together for a little while in an attempt to make some good come from my dumb pets' "internet fame"...

The Refurbished Pet Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that teams up with artists to raise money for charities and causes that promote animal welfare. Several artists have offered up artwork of "refurbished animals" that we are featuring on merchandise, with 100% of proceeds going to a different charitable organization each month. Stuff like this:

Though I'm hoping to feature other stuff like art prints in the future. For June, proceeds will benefit the Animal Humane Society that Tycho and Refurb were adopted from.

Here's the Facebook page
Here's the shop
And, you can make tax deductible(!) donations here, if that's more your thing.
