So I never finished my second run through of W2, to see all of the Roche's path jazz. I stopped about halfway through Act 2. Is there a good walkthrough out there so I can just fly through it this evening? I want to have two distinct saves to import for 2 playthroughs if W3.

The PC version of Witcher 3 will just be like the PC version of Watch_Dogs, you'll be able to enable the special effects and other graphic features from the 2013 trailer.

This is going to sound loving stupid but will playing this game make playing Witcher 2 in the future completely pointless (plot wise mostly)? I've been meaning to play 2 for ages, rented it for 360 before deciding that was not the medium to play it on and got it on PC when I upgraded but now I just really want to play 3, I could try speeding through 2 quick and then playing 3 in like a week but I feel like I'd be sick of that style of game by then. Like, obviously playing this I will probably learn quite a bit about the ending of 2 I'd assume but I won't see all the characters and interactions and stuff will I, so it'd still be worth playing?

In terms of overarching plot relevance? Yeah, probably entirely. If you want to go back in a year or so and play 2 just to get more Geralt and Co, it probably wouldn't kill you.

I already bought Witcher 3 so kinda stuck with it now (don't think refunds are a thing where I got it).

If you're just interested in the story play it on Easy/Normal and you'll blaze right through it.

I just got the game through Green Man Gaming, before learning that it is not a steam key, keys aren't out yet, and I can't get a refund at this point. At least I saved a little money. EDIT: I misjudged my dates. I sent the refund request. Unlucky7 fucked around with this message at 02:35 on May 17, 2015 |

My computer is dead so I can't play through again but watching this and getting the story/quests again has been entertaining. This playthrough is Aryan lives, choose Iorveth, save elf maidens, and Im not sure the ending. Im not there yet. I've been slowly working through this. I just watched the succubus quest and laughed my rear end off again. That quest is great.

Man, this sucks. I'm way too antsy to play this to focus on any other game since I got my W2 saves, this thread has nothing to talk about and the entire rest of the internet seems to consist of nothing but repetitive and stupid "downgrade" complaints. Why couldn't this game have released on Friday, gently caress, I'm not gonna have a lot of time to play on Monday due to having work the next day, and here I am, sitting at home in the weekend, with no interest in playing anything else. Popular games should release on Fridays, IMHO.

Here's a wonderful gallery of screenshots from the PC version in ultra, apparently (no spoilers). The game looks undeniably pretty... except for some weird grass patches that I'm sure will be improved but it really looks fantastic: https://www.flickr.com/photos/127773964@N03/sets/72157652536729480 Here's hoping I will be able to replicate this level of graphical fidelity. Also, serious question: does the horse eat grass? drink water? poop?
