We all eat so much bread and if you are doing a low-carb diet or whatever a protein style burger lets you get delicious burger experiences without the guilt, so I support them.

This thread is good.

I miss this thing from Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler in OKC. Could only find a stock image, but this thread made me hunt for one.
Halfway to the holidays for my burger visit. Family is involved too or whatever.

Not the best burger, but the cheese they have is something magical.

Oh so burgers with toast instead of fancy buns are OK? Cause that's how I most often prefer my burgers (easy, tasty, less bread to content ratio) but I didn't like to take photos of my depraved ways.

Right on burger bro I've got your back. Toast burgs may make for lovely pictures but they more than make up for it with flavor, ease, and hand holdingness.

The toast burger I posted a few months back got called the saddest burger but I can assure you it was delicious as gently caress. Nothing wrong with a fancy bun but toast is beyond easy and so cheap is basically free.

nothing wrong with a toast burg imo, though i would personally do a little bit more to it than just put a tomato like that one toast burg.

it's the serrated edge on the "cheese" that really does it.

Truth.

Every time I've strayed from this, I've regretted it.

The bulgogi burg in Korea was pretty legit. But that was pork, so not technically a burg.

Anyway, gently caress that steakhouse burger.

Yeah, pretty much any of the McDonald's "special" burgers have been limited time only for a reason. They just throw buzzwords in there and charge people $6 for a burger until everyone realizes it's garbage and then they wait until people forget and do it again with a new buzzword.

This may need discussion, but I think it counts. We were talking about lamb burgs before and nobody said anything about it not counting. What's wrong with a piggy burg? Nothing, I say.
