I'm playing an alchemy build, which is pretty annoying because I can't find any oils or potion diagrams anywhere. I've just started the Novigrad quest chain at around level 12, so I thought I'd have more than the ones I have. I picked up Enhanced Swallow so would have thought I should have most of the basic level oils/potions by now. Is there someone in particular that sells them, or is it just time to go around hunting the '?'s

Given the size of the world and the winding nature of the roads, I don't really see how else it could be done? If NPCs or notice boards were expected to give directions to everything they'd be paragraphs and paragraphs long and we'd have people complaining about that instead.

I think Keira sells one of the potions.

Yrden AoE needs to be increased to be competitively viable with the other signs. Double and I think it would balanced, as it stands monsters can too easily lunge or roll out of the way.

Even though I didn't play Witcher 2, I would've liked to make the storyline choices based on research. Apparently I chose the wrong option, and the game decided for me (I'm just past the shaving and I sure as hell ain't gonna start from the beginning). Anyone know what the world defaults to when this option is chosen?

Don't bother attacking her if she's not in the trap and don't over commit. Then you want to kill her clones as fast as possible because they regenerate her health.

The longer they live the more they'll steal. Before they appear they'll just be puffs of cloud but you can still hit them so dodge roll over and hit all three of them. Also take spirit oil if you haven't already. Took me three bloody tries to get her but each time I noticed something more to her patterns Also as a general tip for ghosts you can overlap two trap signs in a figure eight to increase the space you do extra damage in. Super fuckin handy.

Follow one and kill it the moment it appears, then rush at and kill the other two or go at them with your crossbow. Once you've done it a few times, you'll be good enough that she'll barely be able to regenerate at all.

The game will happily destroy you for not being 100% on top of the combat system at all times, and the combat system takes a lot of getting used to.

I'm really enjoying this game and I've been getting really into a lot of the side quests and haven't don't a whole lot of the main quest. Is there any danger in over leveling with the game? I didn't do I on purpose, I've just been exploring and talking to people without doing the main quest, but now I'm at level 12 and starting to worry I might ruin the experience later.

Fucken hell, if you defend this sloppy job of combat. I played it on the PS4 and PC and while it's more tolerable with a controller it's still dreadfully shite, especially since I've been playing Bloodborne, which poo poo bosses aside had you actually control your character exactly as you liked, not either spring around like a retard all the time. Also did the earlier games have weapon/armour durability? I didn't remember it but it's really dull and pointless. Still, like the story and characters; just a shame that it isn't really enjoyable going through the gameplay. Maybe I'll eventually get used to it but it's still a rubbish system.
