The cool thing about loving up and starting at e-1 is realizing that you could have forced the recruiter to give you e-3 before you signed anything. Hope you get e-5 first time you're up, took me 2 trys and I did the stupid starting at e-1 thing too. Never got paid for e-5 but I did get to waste a bunch of money changing my uniforms for it!
