How many times do you guys play people in Gwent? It seems like one win gets you a card, and a second win gets you an item. Does it go further than that?

me your dad posted:Weird. I looked all over for it, and eventually found an exit. The quest failed and I got a new quest: An Invitation From Keira Metz. That sucks. At least it let me fail it though. I was worried it was stuck. I died and it reloaded my save. This time I stumbled upon the right way for the quest.

So is the mind control alt-sign glitched or something? It seems to take literally zero stamina for me. The stamina goes down as I am charging but the actual cast takes nothing, so it's completely trivial to just keep casting it over and over and over. That... can't be intentional is it?

So I probably won't play this game any time soon, yet I'm curious and I haven't seen this information anywhere else. What exactly will get imported from older saves, and I don't mean the big story choices, but the smaller ones like the trolls or those two scientist guys will make a return, also what (if any) weapons and armor will be bought over and if I powered up my sings on one of those shrines will hat carry over? Other thing is that any choices from 1 will carry over, like can we meet with Thaler again, or with Siegfried if they are alive?

To anyone annoyed by the durability system (on PC), just use CheatEngine. Now for a question: Why the gently caress do bolts weigh so much? EDIT: To whomever was looking for where the Aard knockdown chance is listed, it's on your 'Detailed Statistics' page, which is hotkey 'c' by default when you're on your inventory screen. It takes a beat or two to work. Also, maybe you don't have high enough Sign Intensity to charm whatever target? I've had no problems with regular or alternate (charm) Axii and use it extensively. Rocking almost +100% sign intensity tho.

They're a little hard to read since the translations aren't all that great and there's a good deal of Polish'isms in them. The dialog can be hard to follow at times. Geralt also really like to pirouette and touch people with his sword.

I enjoy how even unupgraded axii trivializes fights against singular, powerful humans. Those drowners may hit like a truck and I may run from baby dragons, but a human 10 levels above me falls to a stun execution instantly.

What are the little swirly things that show up on my minimap now, but not the larger map? Also, the controls are killing me in this game. It's SO good, but the controls are so loving awful. I just finished the quest through some cave with Kiera and you get stuck on everything, and the battles are intense and he doesn't dodge when you press dodge, and oversteps all the time. I had a water hag just run up to me and dude didn't even unsheath his sword. I wanted to throw the controller out the window. Nothing ruins a good game like awful controls do. How could the play testers even go through this and just not tell the devs "Look, its loving awful, close to unplayably bad. Fix this poo poo. Today."
