As much as I hated show and tell details for the loving stryker, I'm glad I got picked for this one. A bunch officers from all sorts of allied nations came to ft lewis to check our poo poo out, they were with the defense attache in DC I think it was called? I have some loving coin from it buried somewhere. Anyway, I had a Chinese general try to ask me when we were deploying and how many people were going. I'm not saying I'm the smartest dude, but there were tons of idiots in my company that probably would have blabbed all about poo poo like that. Welp thats my story about how I saved america from the red Chinese menace

I was there 08-09, with the illustrious 3-2 ADA BN of 31st ADA BDE, we relieved 1-7 I think, who left us a bunch of poo poo that was broke and were relieved by I believe 1-43. I was a signal guy who had the misfortune of getting orders to Fort Bliss in 07 out of school when everyone else got korea and germany. They promptly gave me the ADA skill identifier and I was unable to escape the unit for my entire enlistment. "We're combat arms, we're hard-core!" What a loving joke.
