Gravel Gravy posted:Can someone explain to me what in youth compels this kinda thought? From a few pages back, but the answer is ignorance. When I was "fiscally conservative" it was because I thought being fiscally conservative was paying for spending via either raising taxes or curbing spending, depending on how much revenue was expected. At the same time I thought being fiscally liberal was just spending without any regard towards deficits and debt, refusing to raise taxes when needed or curb spending. Nowhere in my understanding of the differences between the two was a differentiation of what and who the spending pie was divide up too. So in my mind paying for shitloads of military and wars without setting aside funds to pay for it would be liberal. Meanwhile cutting the Defense budget and giving all that money to Food Stamps would be conservative.

I disagree. It is imperative that the Republican House retroactively impeach her, so that the Senate can do their duty. This is a matter of both patriotism and honor. Please wait until around July or so of next year to do it though. Don't want to waist that voter good will toward those hard working congressmen.

The inevitable Hillary Clinton nomination really warms my heart. http://www.ibtimes.com/clinton-foundation-donors-got-weapons-deals-hillary-clintons-state-department-1934187 quote:Under Clinton's leadership, the State Department approved $165 billion worth of commercial arms sales to 20 nations whose governments have given money to the Clinton Foundation, according to an IBTimes analysis of State Department and foundation data. That figure -- derived from the three full fiscal years of Clinton’s term as Secretary of State (from October 2010 to September 2012) -- represented nearly double the value of American arms sales made to the those countries and approved by the State Department during the same period of President George W. Bush’s second term.
