Seeing the 3 of them's different end results is pretty cool too. Yall are killing it.

In other news, gently caress 10 year expired portra 800vc

But expired 400NC can stay.

Lesson learned - start buying fresh film..
Second lesson learned - don't sharpen your photos cause flickr does that pro boner

They say, "you mean it's just sounds?" thinking that for something to just be a sound is to be useless, whereas I love sounds just as they are, and I have no need for them to be anything more than what they are.

Is Portland somehow protected from the passing of time? How does that RC Cola machine still exist, along with that janky-rear end vacancy sign, in 2015?

Will have to revisit the spot and the angle. I wish I had more of the row houses grounding the bottom of the composition. Could get better light. Work in progress I guess.

Here's my version, probably something I'd toss out normally but it's interesting to see in the context of these two.

Don't toss it. I think it would be a bit stronger if you cropped out the flare to the right.
Coincidentally when maintaining aspect this should also reduce the heaviness of the black car a bit. But I dunno.. just flying by the seat of my pants here.
I like the detail of the office leather sofa and the succulent plants. That stupid red flower pot though.

Also everyone else has been pretty much killing it on this last page!
