Yes, it's what he does every time. There's no way he'd participate in any debate because 1) he's not actually running, but even if he was 2) he's a massive, cowardly blowhard who'd fold in a heartbeat against even a marginally competent opponent (admittedly not something the GOP appears to currently have many of).

Another option: just rig it. There's a clear list of plausible candidates, so just do that. I'd invite Bush, Walker, Rubio, Paul, Cruz, Kasich, Perry, Huckabee, Santorum, and Christie. Maybe Reince would rather have Carson than Santorum. That's a perfectly reasonably decision to make too. Oh, and if you can't tell Donald Trump to get lost, you aren't much of a political organization. The RNC should insist on his exclusion no matter what criteria are used.

George Pataki? Why? :psypop: did he write a book?

https://www.yahoo.com/politics/pataki-announces-presidential-bid-120100166576.html

quote:

Former New York Gov. George Pataki joined the already crowded field for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination on Thursday, announcing his White House bid in an online video.

“America has a big decision to make about who we’re going to be and what we’re going to stand for,” Pataki says at the beginning of the four-minute video highlighting his leadership as governor following 9/11.

“We have always understood that we have a common background and a common destiny, and when we stand together, we can accomplish anything. I saw that on the streets of New York in the days and weeks after September 11.”

Pataki painted himself as a small-government champion.

“Washington has grown too big, too powerful, too expensive and too intrusive,” he says.

Yahoo News Video

Former New York Governor George Pataki is the latest Republican to toss his hat into the ring for the 2016 presidential election.

The 69-year-old, who served three terms as governor beginning in 1994, has not held elected office since 2007. But Pataki has long flirted with the idea of running for president.

“I make a joke that every four years there’s the Olympics, there’s the World Cup and I come to New Hampshire thinking about running for president,” Pataki said in a speech to a small crowd at a Sea-Doo and snowmobile dealership in Laconia, N.H., last month, according to the Washington Post.

He is scheduled to speak in Exeter, N.H., later Thursday.

Earlier this week, Pataki told the New York Post he realizes his chances are slim.

“It will be a very stiff climb up a very steep mountain, but that hasn’t stopped me in the past,” Pataki told the paper.

In 1994, Pataki upset three-term Democratic incumbent Gov. Mario Cuomo to become New York governor — a surprise win in the often liberal voting state.

That number is WAY too low to be the percent who committed adultery. It's something like 57% of men have cheated on their partner, and 54% of women.

Don't ever look at the real stats on happy marriages, they are depression as gently caress.

Donald Trump Has ‘Foolproof’ Plan to Defeat ISIS

quote:

Donald Trump told Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren that he has a "foolproof way" of defeating ISIS, but he won't share it with the media. He will, however, put his plan into action if he's elected President of the United States.

"If I run, and if I win, I don't want the enemy to know what I'm doing," Trump said of the Islamic extremist terrorist group that has been steadily causing trouble in the Middle East. "Unfortunately, I'll probably have to tell at some point, but there is a method of defeating them quickly and effectively and having total victory."

"All I can tell you it is a foolproof way of winning, and I'm not talking about what some people would say, but it is a foolproof way of winning the war with ISIS," he said. "And it will be absolutely, 100 percent -they'll at minimum come to the table but actually they'll be defeated very quickly."

Although Trump has yet to announce his candidacy for the 2016 presidential election, that did not stop him from campaigning on the air.

"I don't want to be Obama, where he goes on television to explain exactly when we're going to attack a certain city, what we're going to do, what hour we're going to be using for the attack, how many men are going in. I don't want to do that," he said.

drat. Now we have to elect him to find out.
