Probably in the end he's only going to spend a little if anything detained but the club and especially the security ministry is going to make an "example" out of him. There are players who haven't played in months and were still called up, like Fucile, and players who have been injured for months and still got called up like Cristian Rodríguez who doesn't even have a club to play for. There's also Johnathan loving Rodríguez who keeps getting called up for some reason (same with Abel Hernandez). I'm already mad about football and the Copa hasn't even started yet.
