i really like auxy's midi editor, it's a shame it's limited to four tracks

i mean i understand not having a full blown DAW, but would two more really be so much to ask for?

it's the ipad interface that is irritating. there's just no way to translate left/right mouse buttons into a single click. macs are just as useless for the same reason, but at least they have, like alt click or shift click or whatever.

genome's the least irritating if you use it alot for like a week and get used to it. then the only problem with it is the abruptness between pattern shifts. cubase is the best but possibly the most irritating, and gently caress its piano roll editing and gently caress gently caress gently caress the fact that there's no way to enter triplets.

trig, you mentioned you have a handsonic. did you buy the expensive Roland stand for it, or do you use something else, line a regular snare stand?

the latter, just grabbed a $60 stand from mf. if you get one i recommend grabbing a kick and hat trigger, it makes a p dece portable drum set. I use mine to drive bfd more than the onboard sounds, actually

bought one of those new iconnect audio things the other night

it's great being able to route audio and midi to the ipad properly, and charge the drat thing while i'm at it

serves a good purpose as a midi bridge, a++ would recommend

but it needs the damned ios app to be updated to support it, i want to do weird poo poo like send animoog through an analog filter and send the result back to the ipad, which i can kinda sorta do using audiobus but its p janky rn
