Yea, Girls und Panzer takes the premise that driving around WW2 tanks and fighting mock battles is obviously a very feminine activity and makes a great girls' sport, and then runs with that. They play it absolutely seriously.

It isn't, actually. The dude was famously short and ugly, thus the nickname. He sold buns for a living, unlike his tiger-slaying brother.

Now if you want an innocuous nickname that belied terrible danger and wrath, there's Zhang Qing the Vegetable Gardener, who run an inn and had a bad habit of drugging travelers, robbing them, and cutting them up for dumplings.

Edit: There's also a guy called "Dried Pecker Head," but he was a minor villain at best.

Edit edit: Ah, crap, I just noticed there's a guy called Xuan Zan, the Ugly Son-in-Law. REALLY minor character, though, no idea how he got his nickname beyond the obvious.

Edit edit edit: Also another really minor villain nicknamed "Kick a Sheep To Death," presumably because he was a vicious twat.
Well that's kind of sad. Way back when I started studying tai chi my instructor made a comment about the more innocent the name of a move the more likely it was to horrifyingly cripple the other guy.

I'm not re-watching that garbage to point out every irregularity, but some things come to mind like a long-barreled StuG failing to penetrate a PzIV or a literal actual child mustering the 60 kg of effort required to steer a Pz38(t). Also, the scene where they use a Jagdpanzer 38(t) as a ramp to flip over a loving Maus, because this is how tank warfare works.

You can criticise the show for a LOT of things, but it's not as bad as WoT in its portrayal of Russian vs German tanks.

Edit: as in, it doesn't have completely invincible German tanks crushing inferior allied tanks constantly. It's just shockingly racist towards every country involved.

There's the old "let's throw away a bunch of tanks because we are Russians and we want our men to die" cliche, then the Soviet team traps the protagonists in a church, and then instead of collapsing the thing on top of them with a loving KV-2 and IS-2 that they have, the scriptwriters unzip their pants and urinate on my culture for several minutes, at which point the protagonists win.

The crew compartments are armored by carbon and plot so the shells, while live, do not penetrate. The tanks are covered in sensors that read the angle and velocity and determine whether the shot would have resulted in a kill, and a little flag pops up if it's determined the tank would have been knocked out by the hit.
