i really hope Takeo keeps the Bro Cafe Machos job this was such a good episode for faces, and the cute birthday planning/shopping. kinda hope the series skips forward enough that the baby actually appears, but the stuff with Takeo and Suna's families was really funny and heartwarming respectively

I am just now starting to realize that Takeo and Suna have spoiled me with regards to anime romance and bromance now. I dunno if I can handle long drawn out romance subplots/plots now. Would be cool if we got more protagonists and characters like these two from now on.

That was a great episode. So glad they kept Takeo's communicating t-shirt  I've also really been looking forward to the part the next one is going to cover. I ordered volume 4 of the manga the other day, hope it gets here soon! I quit reading online after volume 3 so I'm finally getting to stuff I haven't read yet.

Triumphant return of the butt tree. I love the way this part is handled. There's no moment where a character says something like, "you should have told me that sooner", or "why did you hide that from me?" Like, it's implied, but it's also respects how people deal with this poo poo in their own way. It's pretty meaty for such a fluffy show.

That little hop Yamato does when she tells Takeo he should run is adorable.  The anime has added a lot of life to the characters for me. The people making it really seem to get it.

Nice to see the T-Shirt make its appearance, and that it got the English right. Suna on the bench got me a bit teary-eyed, I admit. Other highlights: -Yamato's swirly bowling ball throw -Happy Birthday song and Yamato's wish -Yamato hopping telling Takeo to go be with Suna -Doctor  -Suna's sister immediately turning cutesy when she sees Takeo's there -Yamato making a pretty multi-colored crane wreath -Yamato wearing the brooch Takeo got her as a present -TO THE BUTT-PINE! Basically the whole episode was great, if it had a crazy Takeo feat of strength like catching a girder or jumping out of a burning building it would be my favorite one so far.

Jeez. I feel embarrassed for the writers on other shoujo stories now. That's how you do drama in a romance story. The birthday wish scene was adorable. Next ep: Oh man, one of the best chapters. Can't wait for the scenes with Yamato's friends.
