Might be a good idea to look for Japanese-language sources, the only English sources that would care are ANN and Sankaku and the latter is massively unreliable.

Apparently Kentaro Miura's fan mail address gets published in Young Animal, and he's at least somewhat receptive to American fan mail (one of the admins of Skullknight had a letter translated and sent it to him, and actually got a reply- Berserk was about 60-70% done as of 2008 and "Band of the Hawk" is an inaccurate translation, it's actually Band of the Falcon, among other things). Has anyone thought of organizing a care package for him? Regardless of whether he's sick, getting together a bunch of fanart, "thank you for making Berserk" letters from American fans, and other cool poo poo and mailing it to him would probably make his decade.

HE SAYS THE EDITOR HAD MIURA CHANGE UP THE ENDING TO MAKE ROOM FOR PRODUCT PLACEMENT TO ACCOMODATE REQUESTS FROM THE NEW SPONSORSHIP., AND HE ALSO SAID IDOLMASTER IS FTW.. AND HE ALSO SEZ IT TOOK HIM A WHILE TO REVISE THE STORY TO FIT A NEW ENDING BUT. AN UPDATE WILL BE RELEASED SHORTLY.
