Rabbit Hill posted:How do you go about learning if your cat likes being in water? Do you just....toss them in the bathtub and pray that you make it out of the bathroom alive? My ex learned that her cat liked water the first day she brought her home. She started the water running for a bath and left the bathroom, then came back to find her new kitty splashing around.

I've heard it suggested that you put the water in beforehand. The water coming out of the faucet could freak the cat out.

It's the YOOL 2015, and we have to have 24/7 armed security around baby animals to prevent a rich fucktard in Vietnam from having it killed so he can drink ground horn. Drinking it proves he's so rich he doesn't give a gently caress. I thought Vietnam was Communist so there wouldn't be rich people. Goddamn.

It's been a little while since I visited the shelter, but I had a little free time today, so I stopped by to say hi. They have a few new faces there, so I thought I'd share them. This is Tuna Fish. He was waiting patiently in the back, having just had a haircut This is Captain America, so named because he was the only survivor of his litter, and a scrawny little kitten who grew up to be big and strong. He's having his bad eye removed tomorrow, but is in otherwise good health, so he should be just fine Here are Apollo and Nyx, relaxing in their little hammock. The biggest change, however, was the influx of tiny kittens! They have all sorts; Piling kittens Climbing kittens Kittens that haven't figured out that food goes in the mouth, not on the face And even a 3-week-old stray that came in with her mom
