The ep's so amazing. It's in season 6 I think though. Cyron's correct, it was a cross-promotion with a PPV. There was an audience and the Baywatch people were awkwardly cut in cheering as if they were there, ha ha.

There also is an ep where Giant Gonzales plays a mistreated circus performer who just wants to carve pelican statues!

I actualy went and watched it when you said it existed the first time. Not to steal your Thunder in Paradise Lupa but the B-Plot to that whole episode is another character getting skin cancer.

Also Hogan and Vader's match are cut in with PPV footage with footage clearly shot later. Like, the ring looks smaller and the canvas doesn't look tied down right.

A handful of smaller videos to share. First, I return to The Secret World of Alex Mack after a ten-month break with Annie Bails, where Annie meets Sherman Hemsley and Alex gives the show a 15 rating in the UK by climbing into a washing machine.

Then, a short Breaking Spines, it's "The Hollow Man" by Dan Simmons. A telepath goes on roadtrip across America, discovers America is pretty much the worst. This is the shortest one of these I've done to date to keep spoilers to a minimum, but I do recommend the book.

And since we were talking about abridged videos a while ago, Youtuber ghastly did one for the Animorphs television series, and invited me to do some voice work for the final episode.

Haha yeah, I forgot about that episode. The question is though..who's a more likely pairing? Eddie/Captain Thorpe (Thorddie?) or Mitch/Random Hawaiian Dude (Hawaitch)?

Mitch/Hawaiian Dude! Mitch always gives the vibe that he's overcompensating to prove his heterosexuality, which means he's most definitely swinging for the other team. However, he'll always remember Mysterious Hawaiian Hunk as the one that got away.

Baywatching has ruined me. Soon, I will be unable to take the Hoff seriously.

I have to go now. My planet needs me.
So why did Baywatch take off so much anyway. I'm still not sure how a drama about lifeguards that got cancelled after one season, then just got more and more insane and silly managed to get nearly a billion viewers worldwide each week. Was it just a "right place, right time" thing? I'm not sure how anyone took this seriously when it first aired, let alone a billion (!) people each week.

Yeah all the Chezapocalypse people are cool folks who make great stuff and are way more qualified than me in understanding film, but there are certain movies like JW where I just disagree with most of them even if they have valid points. Which is good since we shouldn't always have the same opinion on stuff like this since the world would be pretty loving grey/boring.

Basically Todd didn't enjoy the action, and if you don't like that, JW doesn't have much else for you. I liked the action a lot, but his opinion isn't exactly confusing.

It was a handful of reasons. One is the boobs, like other people mentioned, since this was before the internet made porn readily available. Another is that past season one it was a syndicated show, meaning it was aired on more channels and reached a wider audience. Because it was mostly harmless, it was considered a family show and appealed to a broad demographic. And lastly, it was the most watched show internationally because it represented sort of the ideal American culture. Beaches, attractive people everywhere, lots of escapism. The American dream really.

Yes. It was the longest running show to never win an Emmy, but boy did they try. Any time they tried to get an Emmy they'd usually throw in a cancer plot.
