I hope mac 10 isn't a firebug weapon if it is in at all. It was a normal uzi that set things on fire for some reason. Not very satisfying and kind of a lazy idea.

Hey Questioner and assorted TW staff, I deeply implore you to add, if you haven't, a penetration mechanic to the Demo class weapons. Be it perk based dependent or always on, I would adore you if you could do this. What I want to see is RPG's and 40mm's penetrate fleshier, softer targets before detonating, unless using contact munitions. An RPG 16 rocket could travel through several clots before going up, a 40 could probably penetrate two within minimum arming range. Also if I saw a grenade explode inside the gut of a Bloat I'd be delighted. The reasoning for this is all there realistically, and I believe it would be very fun. Oftentimes grenade and rocket based classes in video games can be a bit annoying if all their ammunition is contact based, dudding harmlessly within minimum distance. Another thing you could easily do is having different types of grenades and rockets. Use "switch fire mode" to cycle to a different kind, reload weapon to load it. They could even draw from the same ammo pool if you don't care about complete realism, I don't think anybody would mind. There are many different types of explosives that would make great sense in KF2. High explosive, fragmentation, incendiary (probably want to keep this for a potential firebug weapon), heat, many specialist rounds and combo shots such as HEF-I. Swarm of clots and gorefasts? Use a fragmentation grenade from the launcher. Scrake? Heat rocket to the facemask.

What if you could throw a grenade into the mouth of a puking bloat and it immediately gulped it down? That would be The Best Thing In The World Does anyone know if Nvidia's physx is still a big drain on amd cards? Does the CPU handle it instead? Want them guts but I have a radeon.

Nobody knows yet. Borderlands 2 had some nVidia physx goop for blood and goop barrels and they loving murdered the framerate. Granted that was an older game, older implementation, and older graphics card, but I would expect that the new physx gore will come at a noticeable frame rate premium.

Borderlands 2 required a pretty expensive card when it came out to run PhysX on max. If you could do that, the game became a laser light show of goo and explosion particles to the point that it could interfere with your ability to see what was going on.

Best part about the Flex stuff? You can just turn it off in the options menu. Just like popping your game up to 4k resolution turning on high end graphics features is gonna cause a frame rate hit. Some people love putting everything on ultra settings on their Uber Machine, so they get the option. If you're happier with 120+ frame rate to match your monitor's refresh setting then you can just turn off all the advanced gore Flex stuff and run the game as-is. Easy peasy.

Why can it not run off a solution that isn't tied to a particular company? There's some solid ati cards out, would they have issues with this where the nvidia equivalent would not?

TRESS FX, Phys X Flex, Gore-tek, Fluidix, G-Sync, Freesync, CPU Liqui-Bend and all of these other real or made up graphics company specific bullshit extra features make me actively dislike everyone involved. The quid-pro-quo done to get these in games is bullshit. Tell me AMD didn't have some marketing deal done up with Crystal Dynamics to make Lara Croft's hair looking like a commercial, or Nvidia doesn't do the same with this implementation of fluid that looks like sticky tennis balls. None of it helps consumers, it's bells and whistles to get people to buy the green graphics card over the red one or vice versa. Oh! "The best thing about it though?" I'm listening! "You can turn it off!" Don't be so flippant man. This isn't like changing your resolution, 2560x1440 isn't only locked to an AMD Radeon© Fury brand card. In a game centered around turning zeds into goop set to metal music you're gonna tell me the gore is a footnote. There are people who will see the the new Killing Floor MEAT System "As It Was Meant To Be Played"© and love it. The entire thing just sours me on the game. To think that things like arterial sprays from a head being severed and intestinal gibs weren't considered for all gpus. I'm surprised that you guys don't allow turning the default gore to " 11" by virtue of this being the most metal game ever made, moreso than Brutal Legend or that dickpull Hatred. Yep I have an ati card. How could you have guessed. Just a bit salty cuz what game has ever benefited from the implementation of this sort of thing? Witcher 3 had people having hair problems. AMD have issues with tress fx and have specific driver updates for better hair performance. It's all a marketing thing. nvidia need more games on their bullet list of titles that use their proprietary physics poo poo, the exact same with AMD. And yeah its a beta I forgot it is totally immune from criticism woops my bad. I forgot we are supposed to love proprietary physics goops Also the © symbol is easy to press on mobile and damned it once you start it's hard to stop
