It's now a disgusting green smear in the driveway that can be seen from space. Edit: The zoom kind of hosed up the scale. That spider was probably about twice the size of the penny.

Yeah that's pretty gnarly, my friend had a similar injury after an unfortunate incident with a katana in the woods, got his middle three fingers and cut 6 tendons. Didn't straight up destroy any of them, the sawbones were able to reattach them but his range of motion and flexibility is fuuuucked. Also happened when he was unemployed and uninsured.

My grandfather was missing his middle finger from taking shrapnel in Germany. He was an awesome, tough, ornery old bastard who raised me on his cattle ranch, taught me how to shoot, drive & ride horses. What I'm saying is that your friend should just get it amputated like a real man, who needs a weakened appendage getting in the way of things?

My uncle lost I think three fingers on one hand in a high school shop class accident. Went on to be a successful carpenter. I went to hs with a guy that had a brand new del Sol that he bought with settlement money from losing a couple fingers in shop. He was really good at jrotc rifle spinning stuff somehow.

hes in good spirits considering and he seemed ok when i stopped by his place today to check on him. all they gave him was some percosets for the pain which is pretty  like thats it?im a good friend tho, i christened him knuckles and i sent this pic of my dinner as my reply to his last nite
