Eh, There was a warning about there being product placement so this isn't a big deal. That said, given the nature of this, if there isn't splatfests involving the greatest commercial fights of our time up to and including Coke Vs Pepsi then I will be disappointed. Heck, they could make the to you spray Red or Blue ink for that.

Is it just me, or is A- like...really hard? I win and lose in what seems like equal measure, and I'm either on the top or on the bottom, it's a total crapshoot. I can't even tell if it's because my playing is bad or if there's this huge skill disparity. After like...two days I'm back where I started, 30 points in A-. Also, you'd think that playing a lot of ranked would make you good once you go back to the comparatively chill Turf Wars, but I find that I actually...suck at Turf Wars now. It's like my brain turns itself off once I go there because I make tons of elementary mistakes, like walking right into rollers, lingering into chargers' line of sights, not squidding out of there the moment a bomb lands next to me, and being incredibly reckless, like 'charging blindly into places and promptly getting splatted by the enemy team'. Someone mentioned before that it's pretty much 50/50 whether or not you win or lose. Don't feel too bad.  As for Turf Wars, just remember it should be less stressful than Splat Zones. Stick to what you feel comfortable with. I've been switching it up using the Custom Blaster more recently for Ranked while sticking with the Zapper for Turf Wars. Find your play style and alter it in respect to the game mode. edit: One more thing I forgot: for Turf Wars, try playing with friends. I think it's because sometimes you're grouped with a team with great execution and sometimes you're grouped with great solo players, and there's really no coordination here up top. So the teams that win are the teams that figure out their roles quickest.

Omg I just got my Splatfest tee I looked at my iTunes and a lot of my top played songs are Rock so I went with Rock though I don't really mind any genre???  Also I don't know how you guys play ranked, I somehow got myself to C and my hands are still trembling lol

Pepsi-squid  EDIT: Also I too don't see a real problem with product placement for votes here, then again I'm one of those weird people who think real, unobtrusive ads in games are fine as long as they make some sort of sense (like Rainbow Six Vegas 2 having real ads on signs in the game locations) and aren't stopping gameplay to try to sell you something directly like it's a commercial. Also, if there's a Splatfest around Thanksgiving the voting choices should be Stuffing vs. Potatoes

I'm seeing all the complaints about the Carbon Roller and I'm thinking people are treating it like the Inkbrush: not giving it enough credit and calling it poo poo because it can't roll over people in one hit. God forbid you actually have to think when using a Roller jesus loving christ I actually rather like the Carbon Roller. It's got faster roll speed than your run speed, and its flick attack is wicked fast and can oneshot, and if someone happens survive the flick you can finish them off by rolling over them anyway. It doesn't have the raw bullshit power of the Dynamo Roller, but it can still oneshot or twoshot reliably and quickly. You've also got Burst Bombs for people you can't reach and the Inkzooka for cutting loose, so I think this is actually a pretty good weapon set.

I am the dissenting opinion, I hate being advertised to in any form and would hate a sponsored Splatfest. Also I think the carbon roller is better in turf war than splat zones. Mobility is more important in turf war than splat zones, where kill power is a factor.
