Cookies-and-cream panna cotta whipped into a mousse, apparently. The cupcake version is a chocolate sponge cupcake with that on top.

p-hop posted:Low carb lean gain lunchtime! Also on the list: I just had a flashback to childhood when my mother used to try to force me to eat canned spinach even though it made me gag. I have no idea why she didn't just use fresh and lightly steamed, that poo poo is mega delicious. Canned spinach is loving awful. I can only hope for your sake that room-temp is better than overcooked from a pot. Ugh. I would have rather eaten loving grass. Also, to add to the butter thing-- I don't really like the taste of butter. Super thin spread on toast or on waffles with syrup is OK as something salty/fatty to counter the sweetness, similarly corn on the cob. Guess I got my butter eating out of the way when I was 4 and would eat spoonfuls of it. Now just the thought of eating a chunk of butter is gross. Living in Canada for a while cured me of my distaste for mayo, maybe I should spend a few years in the UK.

I don't get the controversy over mayo vs. butter. One is a suspension of egg yolks in fat, the other is a suspension of milk solids in fat. Both sides are doing the same thing, smearing a flavored fat on their sandwich.

Tell that to all those loving Italian restaurants who bring you refrigerated wrapped butter pats and expect you to warm them up enough over that little candle to spread onto the bread that isn't cut all the way through before the food arrives

My family has used margarine as long as I can remember. It's fine. You're not supposed to spread it thick enough to taste it, it's the glue that sticks your sandwich-filling to the bread.
